Cancellation Policy

100% – Any and all cancellations and no shows within 48 hours.

This policy ensures that your therapist is compensated for the time they were available and ready to serve YOU. Thank you for understanding, respecting, and honoring our cancellation policy. Your therapist’s time is valuable and they are not compensated unless actively providing therapy. To honor the policy of Optimal Performance Massage and Bodywork, cancellations/changes to appointment time or duration must be received within 48 hours.

We require a credit/debit, FSA/HSA, pre-paid series/gift certificate remain on file to reserve an appointment at time of booking whether online, over the phone, or in person. This form of payment will be charged automatically in the event of a cancellation within 48 hours.

Failure to provide sufficient notice will result in a cancellation fee representing 100% of the original service fee. In the event a request is made to shorten the duration of a session at time of appointment, the client acknowledges they will be responsible for the full cost of the previously scheduled session. All same day and no show appointments will be charged 100% of service fee as sufficient time has not been granted to refill the time slot. The same cancellation fee applies if paying with a gift certificate or pre-paid series. If client is late to the appointment, that time will be deducted from the treatment time. If therapist starts a session late that time will still be honored. Family members and friends are always welcome to fill an appointment if original client cannot attend.

If two consecutive sessions are missed without a cancellation notification, all existing appointments will be cancelled. In our desire to be fair to all of our clients and out of consideration for our therapist’s time, we have adopted these policies going forward. Failure to adhere to our cancellation policy will result in termination and all future appointments will be cancelled. Lastly, anyone associated with Optimal Performance Massage and Bodywork reserves the right to refuse service to anyone at any time for any reason.
